Bergman. Silence in Stone.
Never the silence said so much. Never did death so well explain life. Never did the grey tones had so many colours as in the films of Ingmar Bergman. Swedish according to his passport, he was born in the universe but lived where he could get a hold of a camera and give meaning to it with a script.
Only the things we forget die. All things live if they are remembered. Bergman is one of the main proofs of that in the past cinematic century. Theatre was his school and life his teacher. He told, like nobody, the tempestuous relations – which cannot be in any other way- between men and women.
A melting pot of cinematic sculptures that has transformed the work of Bergman into a museum of film windows which is absolutely necessary to visit.
